Executive Director
Kathryn Tanner, M.Ed.

Kathryn joined MEP after 18 years serving at Montana State University, working to connect college students with the nonprofit sector where they actively engaged in helping to meet pressing community needs as volunteers and interns. She has worked with adult, elementary, middle and high school learners and is passionate about assisting others to achieve their goals and aspirations. Kathryn was born and raised in the Detroit area, graduating from the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills and earning her bachelors degree from the University of Michigan. She holds a masters degree in adult and higher education from Montana State University and recently decided it was time to bring her skills and energy to bear, back in her home state of Michigan.

Susan Bresler

Susan came to MEP in March 2016 with over 17 years of experience in nonprofit advancement and community outreach through her work with a large health system foundation as well as small and medium sized nonprofits. Prior to working in development, Susan had an accomplished career as a clincial social worker. Susan brings her joy of building relationships to her genuine passion for MEP's mission of improving the quality of lives of women and girls through education.

Director of Educational Services
Rosanne Plasky, M.Ed.

Rosanne joined MEP with over 25 years of professional experience in education, workforce training and curriculum design, and staff and volunteer management and development.  She has spent her entire career in the nonprofit sector - most recently in the fields of health care and adult education.  Rosanne's life-long devotion to volunteerism, combined with her passion for improving adult literacy, drew her to the mission of the Mercy Education Project.
