How do I purchase a ticket or table?

You can purchase tickets or a table online at https://cbo.io/app/public/bidapp/20thdoorway/tickets/tix or by mailing a check to Mercy Education Project 1450 Howard St. Detroit, MI 48216.

Tickets will not be available to purchase at the door.

What is the address?

The Henry Ford Museum is located in Dearborn on the corner of Village Road and Oakwood Boulevard, just west of the Southfield Freeway (M-39) and south of Michigan Avenue (US-12).

Where do I park?

We encourage you to take advantage of our free valet service by pulling in the brick circle in front of the Clocktower.

You may also self-park in the West Lot and enter through the Museum Welcome Center - be advised there is a long hallway to walk.

Do I need a physical ticket?

No paper tickets for this event. Your name will be on the electronic list at registration. Please be sure to stop at the check-in tables when you arrive.

Will alcohol be served?

Yes, full bar service will be available ending at 10 pm.

What’s on the menu?

A variety of Butler Passed Hors D’oeuvres will be available from 6 - 7 pm.

Dinner will include a salad and Grilled Chicken entree with Michigan Dried Cherry Port Sauce and Chef’s Selection of Fresh Seasonal Vegetables.

What is the dress code?

Can I request to sit with friends?

Yes! We do our best to accommodate requests. Please include seating preferences when purchasing. You can also reach out to events@mercyed.net.

Can I donate an item to the auction?

At this time, we are not accepting donated items.

What is a “Raffle with a Twist”?

At registration, you will receive a passport to collect stamps from each mission critical table located along the presidential limousine exhibit. We ask that you take time to visit each of our 6 mission tables - just listening to the support opportunity earns you a stamp.

Guests who receive a stamp from all six mission tables will be entered into a drawing for a weekend getaway.

How can I donate if I cannot attend?

You can absolutely donate even if you’re unable to attend! We welcome your support through an Underwriting gift of $250 or $500, which you can make directly on our ticket page.

You may also contribute to MEP at www.mercyed.net/donate.

How do I submit guest names for my table?

When you make a table (8 seats) purchase, you should receive an email with a link to edit your guest details. You may use this link any time to make updates or forward it to your guests so they may input their own info.

How will charges appear on my statement?

We use ClickBid Event Management Software - transactions will appear as "MEP DOORWAY GALA" on your account statement.

What is the purpose of the gala?

The Doorway Gala, for 20 years now, raises vital funds for Mercy Education Project (MEP). These funds directly support our programs and our mission to create a learning community that serves women and girls to position them for success.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes, The Henry Ford Museum is ADA compliant. You may email us with any questions at events@mercyed.net.

Is this event for all ages?

Due to the presence of an open bar, this event is recommended for adults (21+). We appreciate your understanding. Please look out for family-friendly events MEP hosts by signing up for our emails on the bottom of our home page.
