Women’s Program GED Graduation Ceremony

After two years of ceremony cancellations due to COVID-19, Mercy Education Project celebrated the accomplishments of 26 women who persevered, some for many years, to reach their goal of passing the GED. MEP’s GED Graduation Ceremonies are always special, but due to the constrictions and restrictions of COVID-19, this event had added significance. For the last three years, MEP’s students not only worked through the obstacles and barriers their socio-economic situations impose, but also through many different styles of learning created by COVID-19 including remote and hybrid learning. None of this stopped MEP’s women.
